Dr. Roz Savage MBE - Liberal Democrat Candidate for South Cotswolds

Dr Roz Savage MBE has been selected in the ballot of members as Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for the new constituency of South Cotswolds.

Before entering the political area, Roz Savage became the first (and so far only) woman to row solo across the "Big Three" oceans: the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian.

Speaking after the votes had been counted, Roz Savage said, “I’m honoured and excited, and looking forward to working with our councillors, members, and supporters to win this new seat for the Liberal Democrats. Our Liberal vision is needed more than ever to meet this country's current challenges, and to face the future with optimism and energy."

North Wiltshire Liberal Democrats chairman, Gavin Grant said, "The local election results, stunning Somerton & Frome by-election triumph and the assessment of experts all say that the South Cotswolds is here to be won - let's make it happen and see Dr Roz Savage MP elected.
