Lib Dem MEP Visits North Wiltshire

12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Mon 2nd May 2005

Liberal Democrat MEP for the Western Counties, Graham Watson, visited Chippenham today. Graham was in the town to endorse the campaign of Liberal Democrat candidate Paul Fox. On a warm spring morning Paul, Graham and a number of supporters conducted some very successful canvassing in the Cepen Park South area of Chippenham.

Paul said: "Added to the recent visits from party leader Charles Kennedy and party president Simon Hughes this visit represents further evidence of how close we are to victory in North Wiltshire. Graham saw for himself the support we have in the area and had the opportunity to discuss concerns of constituents in Cepen Park."
