The Conservatives failed to put up a candidate for the seat they won in 2007. Michelle's is the third victory in two years in Calne Lickhill. She joins Glenis Ansell and Chris Dobbie representing the ward for the Liberal Democrats. Unfortunately, also in last week's edition was a column from James Gray MP in which he compared gypsies to red-headed Scotsmen and suggested that the planning process should not accommodate their desire to live together as a group.
