Biography:Mike Evemy lives near Cricklade having moved to Wiltshire in 1988 to start his career. Originally from South London, Mike attended the University of York, where he joined the Liberal Party and graduated in Economics and Statistics. In 1994, he began working for Nationwide Building Society, where he is now a senior marketing manager. In the 1997 and 2005 general elections, Mike contested the North Swindon constituency for the Liberal Democrats gaining nearly 7,000 votes on both occasions and increasing the Party's vote by 3.6% last time. In January 2007, Mike was chosen to fight the new North Wiltshire constituency by local Party members.
